What you will need:
Cocktail Shaker
Jigger or shot glass
Small Pot
Strainer
Blueberry Syrup:
1 small container (about 12-16 oz) fresh blueberries (muddled)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
Cocktail:
About 3 oz or 1/3 of your glass: Homemade Blueberry Syrup
Fill the rest of your glass with Champagne or Prosecco
Garnishes:
Thyme
Blueberries
Directions:
Start w/Blueberry Simple Syrup recipe:
In a small pot add the following:
Small container (about 12-16 oz) fresh blueberries (muddled), 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup water
Bring to a simmer over low-medium heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved
Let cool and then strain mixture into a container and store in fridge. Lasts about 1-2 weeks in fridge
Blueberry French 75 cocktail
Add in a shaker the following: 1 oz Gin, 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1/2 oz blueberry simple syrup (if you like it on the sweeter side add more syrup to your liking)
Shake it up
Pour into glass
Top the rest with Champagne or Prosecco
