Elderflower Rosemary Gin Sour

Experience a herbal twist in your glass with an Elderflower Rosemary Gin Sour!


Ingredients:

What you will need:


Jigger

Citrus Juicer

Cocktail shaker

Lighter or matches

Cocktail:

  • 2 oz Empress Gin

  • 1 oz Elderflower Liqueur

  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 1/2 oz Rosemary Simple Syrup

  • 1 Egg White

Garnishes:

  • Rosemary Sprig

  • Edible dried flowers

Rosemary Simple Syrup:

  • In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar.

  • Add 4-5 fresh rosemary sprigs to the mixture.

  • Simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves.

  • Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool with the rosemary sprigs in it for about 30 minutes.

  • Strain the syrup to remove the rosemary sprigs.

  • Your rosemary simple syrup is ready to use!

Cocktail Directions:

  1. Burn a rosemary sprig and place your glass over it until drink is ready for a nice smokey taste to your glass.

  2. In a shaker combine: 2 oz Empress Gin, 1 oz Elderflower Liqueur, 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice, 1/2 oz Rosemary Simple Syrup, 1 Egg White

  3. Do a dry shake (no Ice) then add ice shake again

  4. Flip your glass over, strain and pour into glass

  5. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and edible dried flowers
